I was just thinking about this the other day, god knows why...I say perfectly acceptable, hot water makes you want to pee...what else are you gonna do?
*blush* I'm an 'offender' too. It all goes to the same place, right? I guess the issue is with bacteria, but I don't see the problem as long as you're washing youself afterwards.
I was a book editor who realized what I really wanted to do was stick needles in people, so I left publishing and started nursing school. This is the story of my journey toward becoming an RN.

All I have to say is you know you like to take HOT showers when you pee and it feels cool in comparison.

I too pee in the shower, though my husband doesn't.
He knows that its normally the first thing I do, so he waits a few minutes before getting in with me.
One day though, when I was on those icky white progesterine bullets, which made my pee stink like you wouldn't believe, he didn't wait long enough.
To this day he hasn't let me forget the day the shower smelled like a barnyard.
And I just admitted this.
Sigh.
